Guilherme Anjos · Helsinki
I design complex software where the interface is only one part of the system.
I’m Guilherme, Gui for short. I work on products where design has to make technical systems understandable: developer tooling, embedded interfaces, design systems, and the workflows between designers and engineers.
At The Qt Company in Helsinki I have led design on Figma to Qt since the first day of the project. That covers the research, the plugin UI, Live Preview, the playground file, and training for our sales and engineering teams.
Before Qt, I co-ran a design agency in Brazil, where we designed B2B SaaS products for clients. I later joined Zoan, working on immersive products including digital showrooms, metaverse experiences and VR. I grew up in São Paulo and now live in Helsinki.
I’m interested in complex products where design has to bridge domain expertise, technical constraints and real-world consequences.

How I work
Research before pixels. On Figma to Qt, I started with a benchmark of Figma-to-code plugins. That research helped shape the Issues panel and Live Preview.
Engineers in the room. Live Preview changed through rounds with product and engineering. When automatic sync started interrupting people's work, I proposed letting people choose instead of replacing one mode with another: Live Sync or Manual Sync, shipped in V1.0.2.
The product teaches. Our playground file has mistakes built in on purpose. Designers trigger the Issues panel, fix the problem, and learn how Figma to Qt handles real QML constraints by working through the examples.
